Meaning of this film still remains uncertain for me, I feel that it is something interesting, but I cannot crack the egg. Especially I didn't get the name of the film "Elephants dream"
It seems to me that this two guy walking somewhere behind the scenes of the real world. Environment they exist in made as a huge mechanism which make s all their toughts real. As soon as they think something it appears. It seems that idea of this film in someway intersect with idea of film Matrix.
From the visual point if view I like most of it, apart from character animation, especially Emo. It is strange that animators left such such mistakes. If we have a carefully on the walk cycles we easily can notice how far they from the reality. In some fragments movements look very unnatural. I guess that it cause by bad legs rigging. But overall impression is still good.
Especially I would like to attentuate lighting. All the shots has some blur and glowing effect. which creates atmosphere of dream and magic.
